For students from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, National Institute of Open Schooling, Tamil Nadu and Orissa, an aggregate of 85% or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic is required or JEE Main 2013 rank of less than 60,000 is required.
The applicants are required to appear in one of the national level engineering admission tests, such as JEE, BITSAT, JKLU-EET (JK Lakshmipat University-Engineering Entrance Test) or any other equivalent state level engineering entrance examination held in 2013. Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/Non-Resident Indian candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination only (taken not earlier than July 2011).
Category I: Open Competition: Candidates seeking admission under this category should have passed any one of the following examinations of any university accepted by the Academic Council of Pondicherry University, Puducherry-B.Sc., in the discipline of Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences/Medical Laboratory Technology/Microbiology/Ecology/Environmental Science/Biochemistry, or B.V.Sc., or M.B.B.S., or B.E/B.Tech, degree with Biotechnology as one of the subjects.
For Ph.D in Chemistry Program: A candidate should have (or expect to have by August 2013) a M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry with a minimum of 60% marks (first class) or an equivalent grade point. For Ph.D in Life Science/Bioinformatics Program: A candidate should have (or expect to have by August 2013) an M.Sc.in any branch of Natural Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point.
The admissions are open for Indian nationals only. The candidates with bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on 10 point scale or equivalent are eligible to apply for the MBA program.
The program is open to professionals from all functions, provided they have at least 10 years of relevant experience in organizations.
For admission to the BBA in Hotel Managementprogram the weightage of 60 to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination shall be accorded so as to calculate the academic merit of the candidate.
The aspirants of master's degree in Hospital and Health Care Management should possess a bachelor's degree (in 10+2+3 form) in any discipline (Except Fine Arts and Oriental Languages) from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks, relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST candidates.
The candidate should have a B.Tech/B.E degree in Computer/Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized Indian or foreign university with minimum marks of 55%.
Candidates holding B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharm/MCA or equivalent in relevant discipline with 60 percent marks in aggregate (or 6.5 CGPA) are eligible to apply. Candidates holding M.Sc in Basic Sciences with 60 percent marks in aggregate (or 6.5 CGPA) in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply.
For admission to DSC, students have to clear either the MAT/CAT/ATMA examination or sit for the DSC internal Admission exam. The DSC admission test is for 1½ hrs testing an individual on basic reasoning, logic and creative writing skills. Basic knowledge on Advertising and Media is also tested.

The minimum eligibility criterion for this program is B.Tech/B.E in CS/IT/ECE/EE with at least 7.5 CGPA (out of 10) or 70% or distinction. Candidates need to have proper foundations in algorithms and theory, good programming skills, in particular, systems programming and ability to work hard. Requirements may be relaxed for candidates with relevant experience in the area of security, database, or mobile computing.
Engineering/Technology/Sciences/Management/Humanities in respective discipline or equivalent with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA) as determined by the Delhi Technological University and at least 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA at bachelor’s degree level shall be eligible to apply for admission to a Ph.D program of the university provided he should not have attained an age of 50 yrs.
For MAFT Program: The MAFT program has 2 provisions under which admission is allowed: Category A: Graduate degree or diploma from Pearl, NIFT or NID or overseas institutions with equivalent qualifications in Fashion or Textile Design or B.Sc (Textiles and Clothing). Category A students undergo a 3-semester, 1½ years provision i.e. (semesters 1, 2 & 3) commencing in January 2014 and ending in May 2015.
