Master of Business Administration is a two year course to be completed in four semesters. A student is required to study the following papers in the first semester: Management Processes & Skill Development, Managerial Economics, Accounting for Managers, Quantitative Methods, Indian Ethos & Values and Computer Application in Mgt. (Theory). The Second Semester includes following papers: Financial Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Indian Business Environment, Production and Operation Management and Organizational Behavior. The Third Semester has following papers for the students: Business Policy & Strategic Analysis, Decision Support Systems and MIS, Research Methodology, International Business Environment and other Specialization Papers. In the Fourth Semester a student of MBA is required to study: Corporate Evolution & Strategic Implementation, Computer Networks and Internet (Theory) Practical, Entrepreneurial Development, Comprehensive Viva-Voce and other Specialization Papers. There is also a list of optional papers to choose from. One can choose different stream like those of Finance, Marketing Management, Human Source Development, Information Technology Management, Production & Operations Management, International Business Management and Retail Management.

Executive MBA course is meant to further the cause of young executives who are already working with some organization or the other. They can pursue three semester program from MDU to freshen up their knowledge and earn merit for getting a better job placement. First Semester includes papers like Management Process and Skill Development, Managerial Economics, Quantitative Methods, Accounting for Managers, Business Environment, Workshop on Information Technology and Workshop on Soft Skills.
