Eligibility: Candidate with a pass in plus two or equivalent examinations recognized by the University, irrespective of streams/subjects are eligible for admission to the course (only female candidates need apply for the B.Sc Apparel and Fashion Design programme, since the course is offered in a women’s college)
Bonus marks for; for participation in NCC/NSS; for Ex-Servicemen applicants and widows and children of Jawans/Ex-Servicemen will be given as per the existing rules of admission
Reservation for candidates with outstanding records in sports and games shall be allowed as per rules
3%of the seats under merit quota are reserved for physically challenged candidates
Selection Procedure: Admission to the programme and colleges mentioned above will be on centralized process based on an entrance test which is mandatory for all candidates
The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance test
The entrance test is of one hour duration consisting of objective type multiple choice questions each of which carries four choices
Since the test is conducted on objective basis, there will not be provision for revaluation
Subject areas included for the entrance tests; General Awareness, Creative Aptitude and General English
Entrance Test Centre: There will be only one examination centre for the entrance test
The venue for the entrance test will be mentioned in the admission ticket

Date of publication of rank list: 09th August, 2012
Date of counseling: 16th August, 2012 onwards

Date of closing of admission: 23rd August, 2012
